Nocturnes
During the brief period of the Covid lock down, I began taking long walks after dark. Experiencing familiar surroundings through varied and shifting light sources led to a new body of work. These paintings marked a departure in aesthetic and became a way to study the complexity and subtlety of light under nocturnal conditions.
